About South Chatham Village Apartments

 South Chatham Village was developed by Christians
 who  wanted to  build an apartment building for
 adults over 60 years  of age.

 South Chatham Village was built in three stages,
 as  more apartments  were needed. There are 67
 apartments  and it is a happy place  to live. The
 apartments and the grounds  are kept in excellent 
 condition.

 There is a recreation room and  kitchen where
 tenants meet to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries,
 family reunions, Christmas  programs etc.

 Tenants also come together in the Rec. room during
 the evening to play games and socialize. Around the
 building is an attractive walking path, which many
 residents use and enjoy.

 There are garden plots where tenants can grow
 flowers and vegetables  and enjoy the outdoors.
 At the back of the building there  is a  shuffleboard
 court with a canopy for shade.

 The building and the  grounds are maintained by
 custodians who are also very caring  for the tenants.
 South Chatham Village is a non profit  organization
 that is operated by a volunteer board of directors.
